Auston Grove Apartments March 2016 Newsletter



On Saturday, March 26th, Auston Grove will be having
an Easter Egg Hunt around the clubhouse.
Bring the kiddos by between the hours of 12:00pm
until 1:00pm to hunt for some treats.



Office Hours

The weekend of Easter, the office hours have been adjusted. The hours are as follows:

    Friday, March 25th the office will be closed in observance of Good Friday.

    Saturday, March 26th, the hours have been adjusted and we will be open from 10:00am-2:00pm.

    Sunday the office will be closed in observance of Easter.

If you should have a maintenance emergency, please call 919-217-9995 and follow the prompts.

Daylight Savings Time

March 13th the clocks will "spring forward" (by shifting the clock forward) an hour to daylight time, so that evenings have more daylight and mornings have less. Be sure to adjust your clocks at 2:00am local time.


St. Patrick’s Day 2016

Thursday, March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. On this day it is customary to wear shamrocks and/or green clothing or accessories (the "wearing of the green"). Better wear yours, or you will get pinched!

African American Film Festival

March 3rd- March 6th
Venue: The Cary Theater

Admission: Free; Certain screenings $5

This film festival coincides with the Town of Cary's African American Celebration, a nearly two-decade history of recognizing black history and heritage. The African-American Film Festival will spotlight seven feature films and six short films made by and about African-Americans. The festival also offers unique forums for Q&A and panel discussions with talented local and national filmmakers. Most screenings are free, unless otherwise noted. The host and featured filmmaker, Harold Jackson III is an Emmy-nominated producer and recent winner of the Emerging Filmmaker Award at the N.C. Black Film Festival. UniverSoul Circus

Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade & Wearin' 'O the Green Festival

March 12, 2016

Admission: Free

The Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Wearin' 'O the Green Festival Parade celebrates the great St. Patrick and Irish and Celtic Traditions and Culture. The festival has lots of food and drink, activities for kids on Leprechaun Lane. The Irish Village will have Celtic inspired jewelry and arts and crafts. Live music will be on the Shamrock 'n Roll Stage and the Celtic Street Stage all afternoon!

2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt

March 19, 2016
Times: 9:30-10am
Venue: Three Bears Acres
Address: 711 Beaver Dam Rd., Creedmoor, NC 27522
Admission: $5 (for hunt) plus admission

Bring your Easter baskets and head out to find some hidden eggs! Each child will search for a dozen eggs! There will be two groups for age groups. Each area will have a golden egg with a special prize for the winner!


Volunteers

A few members of the Auston Grove Staff will be volunteering at the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina on Thursday, March 24th from 9:00am until noon. If you are interested in volunteering with the Team, feel free to contact the office with any questions you may have. Talk about a great team!
